No more so than me, I’ll bet.
One series of stories often republished are my Tales of the Woods, a series of fables set in a mythical Woods. I wrote my first Tale of the Woods as a sophomore my first time through college. Quite a few followed then life got in the way. I’d pen a new one now and again, usually for friends going through some difficulties or life challenges.
Recently and more and more often, readers ask if I’ll be producing a Tales of the Woods anthology. It will be subtitled “Children’s Fables for Adults” or something similar.
Maybe in 2025? 2026? Who knows.
Meanwhile, Carmina’s been gracious enough to publish my The Boy in the Giant (A Tale of the Woods), and I, of course, am thrilled.
