Our 24 May 2025 RoundTable 360° session was Creativity: the fight against “normal” – Ever since the second half of the nineteenth century, educational institutions and the world in general has pursued the normal, that hump in the bell-curve. To what degree does this preoccupation with normality interfere with the appreciation of human potential? Is divergence from standard expectations problematic, or is it part of the wonder that makes up the human experience? Do creative differences and the pursuit of novelty make our world better?
Creativity: the fight against “normal” is led by author, scriptwriter, and poet Ken Weene.
