Chipsters Gotta Chip

I would like to say life is simple in The Wild.

Indeed, it is true, life is simpler. Not simple, but simpler. No avarice, no ego, no…bullshit.

Am I hungry? Find something to eat.

Am I tired? Rest.

Is it that time of the year? Mate.

I was taught long ago that all we (humans) need to survive is air, water, bread, and offered as a metaphor.

Competition is fierce in The Wild. It has to be; resources will always be limited. Only humankind believes natural resources are undepletable, and humankind are the only species which believes it has an inalienable right to all natural resources.

At some point, and due to evolutionary-ecological cycles, humankind will realize neither of those are true.

At that point in time, human living will once again be simple.

It’ll have to be. Will be back at the bottom of Maslow’s pyramid. All we’ll care about is finding something to eat, a place to rest, and, when it’s time, a mate.

When that occurs, our cycle will be complete, and nature will determine which experiment to work on next.
