When I started composing this experiment, I couldn’t stop myself from hearing The Beatles’ soundtrack.
Ah, the joys of being experienced.
Bet you thought I was going to write “older.”
Almost did.
Older or experienced, not so much Help as having someone listen as you explain what’s going on in your work. Their expressions while doing so tell you much about whether your story is working or not.
For that matter, saying it out loud tells you much about what’s working and what’s not.
And my inner editor really hates the opening line to this post. Downright rebels. You see, I practice my craft in all things I do.
It’s how I was trained.
I couldn’t stop myself from hearing The Beatles’ soundtrack when I started composing this experiment.
Yeah, much better.
Thanks for your help.

Either way, we’ll both learn something.
