I Get Faithy with Jay Wilburn (but only if it matters)

Jay Wilburn interviewed me on wide-ranging subjects on his Matters of Faith podcast.

Jay’s blurb: The Matters of Faith Podcast with your host Jay Wilburn on Project Entertainment Network explores individual stories of faith and personal struggle. The show does not have an agenda, but seeks to detail the personal experiences of people within various faith communities and people with experiences outside those communities – within organized religion and with spiritual views outside of those traditions. Every person has a story. It may not be your story, but their experiences may help you, may lift you up, or may inspire you as you live out your own story. Listening to the stories of others helps us all to understand each other better as we live out our lives in the world we share. We are all trying to figure out life. This show is meant to help us discuss topics about our journey through life that do not get discussed openly, honestly, and positively often enough.

I enjoyed it and recommend his show to others, both listening and being interviewed. He’s talented, disarming, and entertaining. Nice combo when you can get it.

Thanks, Jay!

B&E Tales from the Pages Welcomes Chris Mason and Joseph Carrabis

I had the pleasure of chatting with Barbara Ehrentreu and Chris Mason recently.

Most of us have been inside of our houses way too long and maybe you are looking for something a little different to while away the hours. Come join my guests, Joseph Carrabis and Chris Mason and me on Thursday, April 23, 2020 at 4pm Eastern time. We will be discussing the accomplishments of each of these unique authors. Joseph Carrabis is the author of over twenty-five books including a dozen novels. Chris Mason has a unique home and he is the author of many books and coloring books. This should be a very interesting and unusual show. As always there may be some surprise guests. If you have listened to past shows you know anything can happen!

Listen to the entire episode and let us know what you think.

Writers Corner Lived Me

and someday i’ll learn to read

A fun experience this week. Lots of laughs and good conversation.

Does it get better than that?

I wonder sometimes.

Bridgetti Lim Banda and Mary Elizabeth Jackson were amazing kind and gracious with me. We discussed my marketing philosophy (simple, really; put the reader first), how I got started writing (blame my sister, my favorite story (Dancers in the Eye of Chronos primarily because it’s Susan‘s favorite), music’s role in my life, the importance of fire alarms, Susan’s encouragement in my writing, how my writing has changed, my homage to AJ Budrys (mentioned in my own interview, my ability to mistitle books and authors whom I adore, all the good stuff.

Enjoy – Writers Corner Live show Episode 58 with author Joseph Carrabis!

Dove Winters Interviews Me

Bearded Scotch Toes? In 50 words or less, too!

Dove Winters (of Ember of the Planet fame) invited me to take part in her Questions that Matter Interview series.

These were not the standard interview questions and I decided to have fun with them. I get to tell the story of meeting Susan (wife/partner/Princess), some fascinating aspects of my physiology that (so far) are unique to me, my dream circus job, my favorite pair of socks, and you get to read a 50 word flash piece by yours truly.

It was a trip.

The interview, not the flash piece.

Hope you enjoy.
