The Augmented Man is on Darren Perdue’s Radar!

And I got interviewed, to boot!

Everybody know NineToes?

Ninetoes loves books.

And I’m honored that Ninetoes is interested in The Augmented Man.

Ninetoes is so interested in The Augmented Man that the book is now on Ninetoes’ radar.

But wait! There’s more!

Not only is The Augmented Man on Ninetoes’ radar, Darren Perdue, purveyor of NineToesness, interviewed me about my work.

And the best part?

Darren wants to know when I have more books coming out.

Yeah, I’m good with that.

Lifting an Ale at Joshua Robertson’s Book Tavern

Joshua Robertson discovers I had a life. Like you didn’t, right?

In the better late than never department – and my apologies for this – Joshua Robertson interviewed me in his Book Tavern a while back.

I could give you excuses why I’m just posting this now.

Except I recently encountered the following quote:

Excuses are lies wrapped up in reasons.
– Howard Wright

So, recognizing that it’s easier to do what’s right rather than increase my mistakes, I’m posting about it now.

Part of the fun of Joshua Robertson’s (and have you checked out his bookcovers? Some serious artwork there) interview was his holding my feet to the fire regarding my past life.

No, not the one when I was leading the Babylonian Ziggurats to the Fertile Crescent Soccer Championship of 2,100BC, the other one, when I was the Chief Scientist, et cetera, for several companies and created a technology complete with several patents.

So I had a life.

Before I became a full-time author.

Who knew?

Enjoy the interview.

And buy my books. Even the technical ones written when I was a Chief this-and-that.

Hannah R. Goodman Questions Me Nine Times!

You publish an exciting SF Thriller about Recovery from Childhood Trauma and Everybody Wants to Interview You. That’s what I’m hopin’

Everybody’s talking at me…
I don’t hear a word they’re saying…

Okay, I do.

The inestimable Hannah R. Goodman, aka WriterWomyn (you gotta love it, don’t you? I keep seeing Linda Carter bouncing bullets off her wrists.
yeah, I’m that old) asked me nine, count ’em, nine questions about The Augmented Man, what do I read (lots of stuff. Ever gone through my Goodreads listings?), my influences, the worst advice I received about publishing, my theory on rejections (THE FOOLS!), and what I’d do on a stranded island (aside from make sure there’s always a full moon so I can read before going to sleep).

Hope you enjoy.

Dove Winters Interviews Me

Bearded Scotch Toes? In 50 words or less, too!

Dove Winters (of Ember of the Planet fame) invited me to take part in her Questions that Matter Interview series.

These were not the standard interview questions and I decided to have fun with them. I get to tell the story of meeting Susan (wife/partner/Princess), some fascinating aspects of my physiology that (so far) are unique to me, my dream circus job, my favorite pair of socks, and you get to read a 50 word flash piece by yours truly.

It was a trip.

The interview, not the flash piece.

Hope you enjoy.

Tiffany Fenton Interviews Me

I spent some time with a hero

Tiffany Fenton (and if you haven’t read her story, you should) asked me if I’d be her first interview.

When #the_herowithin calls, can you not answer?

Okay, I chose to answer. Tiffany supplied twenty-two questions with the instructions that I didn’t have to answer all of them, I could pick and choose. I answered all of them because 1) hey, somebody wants to interview me? Go for it! 2) I’m an overachiever (not really).

Anyway, it was fun and I hope you all enjoy

You can read the interview on Tiffany’s site, under Joseph Carrabis.

And please do enjoy.

PS) You can find Tiffany’s books in the list on the right (depending on your device). Enjoy them, too.
