…a solid vision…

It is understood that our ideas occur during sleep which is an invaluable unconscious endeavor to productivity. But to exhibit a solid vision in comfort while structuring short- and long-term goals it is favorable complacency that assures consistent evaluation.

Today’s blurb is actually the Foreword to the book itself and is courtesy CEO, Author, and Coach Eileen Bild. You can also follow Eileen on Twitter.

There is synthesis between the known and unknown, the seen and unseen, the mental and the physical, the desires of the heart and the mental mind; and the overall theme of we are all just trying to make it from one day to the next with joy, peace, and happiness.

I have always been a scholar at heart and study cross disciplinary areas such as philosophy, neuroscience, spirituality, psychology, science, and metaphysics. When Joseph Carrabis shared with me his own cross disciplinary studies and brought his knowledge, experience, and insights into book form, I was intrigued. He presents an underlying element of life that is layered with various nuances we can look deeper into separately or in combination, like putting a puzzle together to see the full picture.
By taking different aspects of life, living, and the balance needed to make it in the world as unscathed as possible, Joseph takes us through his own journey of building an incredible business and the lessons learned along the way. These include the way people think, why they do what they do, living by specific principles, understanding happiness, work-life balance, and his suggestions of how-to’s for living life effortlessly and purposefully.
If you ever wonder about how to think like an expert, the difference between your inner critic and the actor within, your ability to be heard, the value of being a musician, how to protect yourself from liars or how to overcome fears, you will find answers in this book.
Through each chapter there is a magic wand taking you into an area of life that you may have experienced yourself or it will be something new to consider. There is synthesis between the known and unknown, the seen and unseen, the mental and the physical, the desires of the heart and the mental mind; and the overall theme of we are all just trying to make it from one day to the next with joy, peace, and happiness.
Joseph gives his own insights throughout the pages of what he believes are the backbone of what weaves together to bring us life experiences. Some great, others not so great. He leaves it up to the reader to discern what is true for them. You will find yourself wanting to explore more of each of his analysis of life’s nuggets, many of which we create ourselves through questions, desires for specific outcomes and the need to be heard.
I found myself comparing my own life journey and discerning what might be relatable and if I agree with Joseph’s interpretation. I believe we are all students of life and when there are tidbits of one’s story shared for the sake of giving information that may help others learn, grow, or transform, we are blessed with a gift. It is up to us as to what we do with this gift.
I recommend reading through the book once, coming back through with notebook in hand jotting down the highlights. Then one at a time, research for more information of what you may not know much about. You may find some dots connecting and puzzle pieces come together over time. In this book there are sparks of ideas and thoughts which can be a catalyst for creating positive change in your life. The principles he lives by are seeds to plant for yourself and carry into both your personal and professional life.

Thank you, Eileen!

A true polymath, Carrabis blends the astute wisdom of Covey, the practical guidance of Ferriss, and the sagacity of Dear Abby into an eclectic potpourri of advice and opinion. This assortment of insights is a veritable box of chocolates, each one sure to please. Drawing from multiple disciplines–principally psychology, sociology, anthropology, and business–the author shares his unique perspectives. Throughout the chapters covering a wide variety of topics, readers are encouraged to think and behave in new and improved ways.

Without question, the right book at the right time…

Every so often, the word ’synchronicity’ comes into play when our daily routine is interrupted by an unforeseen, albeit beneficial intersection of ideas, people, or circumstances. And far too often, we don’t fully grasp the magnitude of such chance happenings. And so it goes as I encountered the unexpected pleasure of strolling through this book from cover to cover. Without question, the right book at the right time for so many who will look upon this as a mirror, reflecting many situations and circumstances resembling those we’ve encountered. Stories told with candor and an extraordinary level of honesty, along with advice which becomes the magic elixir we can all draw from as we continue to navigate that unpredictable journey called life.

Thank you, Dennis!
