17 or so Minutes with Author Tina O’Hailey

I recently had the good fortune to spend seventeen or so minutes with author Tina O’Hailey.
Tina’s spends her days as a professor at Savannah College of Art and Design. Ah, but the rest of her life is spent writing fiction (she’s written technical/academic books, too. We forgive her. We did the same in our distant past, when we were young and foolish).

You can find Tina online at:

And of course, right here…for seventeen or so minutes.

Enjoy!

I’m Arm Casted by Armand Rosamilia

Want to hear me rolling with the punches? Give a listen to Arm Cast Podcast: Episode 341 – Carrabis.

I’m fascinated, listening to it. We talked a bit about the business Susan and I had, my past writing, re-evaluating past writing, practicing my writing, learning to describe something in five words instead of fifty, taking courses, reading books, perfecting my craft, and applying my research talents to writing good books.

No, really, we did.

And then we talk about the publishing world that existed when I wrote trade-technicals (late 1980’s-early 1990’s) and how it is now. Specifically, what’s changed and what’s not.

Give a listen and let us know what you think.

(and thanks)

I Get Faithy with Jay Wilburn (but only if it matters)

Jay Wilburn interviewed me on wide-ranging subjects on his Matters of Faith podcast.

Jay’s blurb: The Matters of Faith Podcast with your host Jay Wilburn on Project Entertainment Network explores individual stories of faith and personal struggle. The show does not have an agenda, but seeks to detail the personal experiences of people within various faith communities and people with experiences outside those communities – within organized religion and with spiritual views outside of those traditions. Every person has a story. It may not be your story, but their experiences may help you, may lift you up, or may inspire you as you live out your own story. Listening to the stories of others helps us all to understand each other better as we live out our lives in the world we share. We are all trying to figure out life. This show is meant to help us discuss topics about our journey through life that do not get discussed openly, honestly, and positively often enough.

I enjoyed it and recommend his show to others, both listening and being interviewed. He’s talented, disarming, and entertaining. Nice combo when you can get it.

Thanks, Jay!

B&E Tales from the Pages Welcomes Chris Mason and Joseph Carrabis

I had the pleasure of chatting with Barbara Ehrentreu and Chris Mason recently.

Most of us have been inside of our houses way too long and maybe you are looking for something a little different to while away the hours. Come join my guests, Joseph Carrabis and Chris Mason and me on Thursday, April 23, 2020 at 4pm Eastern time. We will be discussing the accomplishments of each of these unique authors. Joseph Carrabis is the author of over twenty-five books including a dozen novels. Chris Mason has a unique home and he is the author of many books and coloring books. This should be a very interesting and unusual show. As always there may be some surprise guests. If you have listened to past shows you know anything can happen!

Listen to the entire episode and let us know what you think.

I’m Thriving Globally (thanks to Roshan Bhondekar)!

Brother Roshan Bhondekar, an internationally recognized activist, author (of Love – The Key to Optimism: Path Towards Happiness), and award-winning film maker asked if he could write a piece about me. The result is His Vision Made Him Unique.

When he reached out to me I said sure. Why not?

To be honest, I thought it might be a simple blurb (he’s busy with his many projects). Instead I learn he’s done an amazing job connecting the dots of my life into an interesting story.

I mean, I found it interesting. And I think I’m boring and dull. Sometime we forget what we’ve done in our lives.

And I’m still boring and dull.

Anyway, big thanks to Roshan Bhondekar for writing His Vision Made Him Unique
